Who we are

Suukkosan is a cosmetic clinic and beauty salon at 40 Thomas Street, Llanelli, SA15 3JA, founded by Sunny Williams. We decide how and why your personal information is used, which makes us the "controller" under UK data protection law.

What we collect and why

When you contact us by email, phone or social media. We receive your name, contact details and whatever you tell us, and we use it to reply to you and deal with your enquiry. Our email is a Gmail account, so Google stores those emails for us.

When you request a training course place. The form on our training pages asks for your name, phone number, email address, a preferred date and any notes you choose to add. The website does not store or send this itself. When you press the button, your own email app opens with the details ready to send to us, and nothing reaches us until you press Send. We use the details to reply to your request and arrange your place.

When you book an appointment. Appointments are taken through Booksy. Booksy is a separate service with its own privacy policy, which you can read on the Booksy website. We do not collect your appointment details through this website.

Our legal reasons. We use your information to reply to you and to take steps you ask for before you book (such as arranging a course place). Where you simply send us a general enquiry, our reason is our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us. You do not have to give us your details, but we cannot reply to you without them.

We do not use your details for marketing, we do not sell them, and we do not use automated decision-making.

Who else sees your information

• Google, which provides our email (Gmail). Google may handle data outside the UK and relies on safeguards approved under UK law when it does.
• Booksy, if you book an appointment through them.
• Fasthosts, who host this website. Like most web hosts, they may keep standard server records, such as your IP address, to keep the site secure and running.

We only share your information with anyone else if the law requires it.

Cookies and embedded content

This website does not set cookies of its own and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Our fonts are stored on our own server, so your browser does not contact Google to load them.

Two features come from other companies, so we only load them when you ask us to:

• Instagram reels on our home page. They show as a cover image with a play button. Once you press play, Instagram (Meta) loads the reel and may set its own cookies and record your visit under its own policies.
• The Google map on our contact page. It stays hidden behind a "Show map" button. Once you press it, Google loads the map and may set its own cookies and record your visit under its own policies.

The links to our Instagram, Facebook and Booksy pages take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies. Because we set no cookies and load nothing from other companies until you ask, there is no cookie banner on this site. If that changes, we will add one.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry and booking-request emails only for as long as we need them to deal with what you asked and to answer any follow-up questions, and then we delete them.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it in a portable format. Email us and we will respond within one month. You can also object to our use of your information based on legitimate interests at any time.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or by phone on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if how we use your information changes. Please check back from time to time.
